Boda Boda riders can now sing "Tuli Wawelu" officially after President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni lifting curfew restrictions on boda boda riders.

The President made the announcement while officiating at the 41st Tarehe sita celebrations this afternoon praising the UPDF/NRA, both current and former members, on all of the conflicts they have fought to date.

The UPDF has been implementing many community initiatives, including the renovation of health facilities and other infrastructural facilities under the supervision of the UPDF Engineering Brigade, in the Elgon Region, which covers Bugisu and Sebei Areas.

“The boda boda riders have been asking when this man will open the doors for us. As a result, I’m announcing that you start working tomorrow,” President Museveni remarked.

The cyclists will start full operations on Monday, February 7th, 2022, as per the standing order.
