Vipers SC and KCCA FC Both Win on Match Day Eight

Match day eight has concluded on Wednesday 1st December, 2021 with two fixtures as Gadafi FC hosted Vipers and KCCA FC hosted BUL at Lugogo.

In a match played at Gadafi Arena, the hosts fell to a 3:1 loss to Vipers SC. Milton Kaliisa hit a brace with another goal coming from Bright Anukani to seal the well deserved win as Jamal Buchochera pulled a consolation for the home side.

The win lifts Vipers SC to second place with 16 points from 7 matches, six points less of leaders KCCA FC though the venoms have a match in hand.

At MTN Phillip Omondi Stadium Lugogo, KCCA FC won 3:1 against visiting side BUL FC. Innocent Wafula opened the scoring at the stroke of half time, Charles Lwanga doubled the lead in the 77th minute before Davis Kasirye put icing on the cake seven minutes later.

Musa Esenu scored the only consolation for the oil makers who are now standing fifth on a sixteen team log with 14 points from eight matches.

The result meana KCCA remain unbeaten in the league this season, winning seven and drawing one and currently top the table with 22 points.

Action resumes on Sunday with three fixtures on menu with Vipers locking horns with KCCA FC at St. Mary's Stadium Kitende, Arua Hill SC hosting Tooro United at at Barifa Stadium as UPDF will be hosting Bright Stars in Bombo.
