Speaking at the 95th FUFA ordinary assembly in Adjumani on Saturday 28th September, 2019, FUFA president ascertained the need for him to temporarily step aside so as FIFA does its investigation with ease and things get sorted for good.

Makindye Member of Parliament also a shadow minister of sports in parliament and Katwe FC club chairman Mr Allan Ssewanyana issued a petition to FIFA at the end of May in 2017 accusing Mr. Magogo of selling World Cup tickets.

Each Member country of FIFA is entitled to a number World Cup tickets before the World Cup commences and Uganda was allocated 177 tickets.

This according to the Member of Parliament this is contrary to the FIFA statutes, code of ethics and disciplinary code, under the articles 13, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22.

However, Magogo speaking at Multi-Purpose Hall in Adjumani in West Nile, asserted that his 1st Vice President Justus Mugisha will temporarily take on the reigns as investigations go on. He maintained that him stepping down for two months will enable the world's football governing body to do investigations with ease and things get sorted early enough or otherwise may take years.

If Magogo is convicted of Fraud, he will be disposed off his office as prior victims. They include Michel Platini (Former FIFA president), Michel Platini (Former UEFA president), Jack Werner (former FIFA president) and Jerome Valcke among others.

Blizz Uganda will keep you posted on the case.
