Uganda Police FC head coach Abdullah Mubiru has named a 34 man squad with one day to kick off of the new Uganda Premier League season.
However, to football lovers' surprise, talented youth Frank Zaga Tumwesigye missed on the squad with no official information about his whereabouts with rumors having it that the he went Absent without leave.
The new 2021/2022 season opens on Friday 15 the October with three fixtures on menu. Express FC Vs Arua, Onduparaka Vs UPDF FC and Mbarara City taking on Bright Stars at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.
2005 Uganda Premier League champions Police FC will open their new season with a home tie against reigning Uganda Cup reigning champions Vipers SC on Sunday 17th October ,2021.
The cops finished sixth Last season with 40 points from 27 matches. They won 11, drew 7 and lost 9. They will this time round be aiming for a better position finish but will have a hard start to the season hosting league thirsty Vipers.
The club however mutually parted ways with 05 players gearing up for 2021/22 season who included Musa, Rukundo Denis, Kabuye Bashir, Kisekka Henry and Kiryowa Edward but registered new entries as listed below..
