The football fraternity in Uganda is mourning the untimely death of former Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) President Twaha Kakaire.
Twaha Kakaire was the president of the football ruling body of Uganda for three years between 1995 and 1998.
FUFA tweeted, "We have just learnt of the unfortunate news of the passing on of Hajji Twaha Kakaire, the 24th FUFA President.
Hajji played key role in the development, growth of football and the Institution during his leadership. We grieve in honour of his football works."
He replaced Brigadier Moses Ali who was president between 1994 and 1994.
