Boda Boda Rider Who Saved Gen. Katumba Has Been Gifted With A Brand New Motorcycle By CBS

Buganda Kingdom's Central Broadcasting Services (CBS) FM radio has rewarded a brand new motorcycle to William Kawuki, the known Boda Boda rider who rushed injured Gen. Katumba Wamala to hospital.

The rising celebrity was identified as the right motorcyclist that evacuated the former CDF from the shooting scene days after a one Hakim Kasibante coming out to disguise as the guardian angel who had rushed the army general to Malcolm Health Center for first aid.

The Works, Transport Minister, and UPDF legislator was on June 1st 2021, attacked by unknown assailants who spread bullets at his ride that left his daughter Brenda Nantongo and driver Haruna Kayondo dead.

During the funeral of his daughter at his ancestral home in Kikandwa, in Mukono district on Thursday, Gen. Katumba who was discharged from MediPal Hospital a day after the attack heaped praises for the Boda Boda rider..

The CBS FM radio crew led by the station manager Hajji Abbey Mukiibi on Friday handed over the motorcycle to Mr Kawuki as a reward from the station and its listeners towards his generous efforts in saving a desperate life from the army general that almost lost his life after being ambushed by the yet to be identified gunmen.
