The Beef between Diamond Platnumz and his former group member Harmonize is not yet over and doesn't look like it's going to end now.

As Harmonize made it clear a few weeks that with a decision to walk out of Wasafi Records, now what was initially an inseperable duo are now well on their way to becoming musical enemies as Diamond confirmed he was a bit salty about Harmonize’s move on Saturday, September 21.

While addressing fans at Iringa, Diamond made his feelings towards Harmonzie known as he termed him a traitor, while maintaining that he would remain the “president of music” in Tanzania.

"Raisi pekee amabaye wananchi wamemchagua, nishasalitiwa na jeshi wakashindwa kunipindua “i’m the only president chosen by the people, I was betrayed by an army but they failed to topple me,” Diamond said.

The pair has previously been the heart throb of fans after releasing several hits together, and none performed better than their 2018 master piece "Kwangwaru". Diamond all but nurtured a couple of talents in the Wasafi label including the likes of Rayvanny and Harmonize himself.

There has however been the feeling that Harmonize was doing fairly better than Diamond and because of the fanbase he established for himself over the years, fans inevitably began comparing him to his mentor.
