The second round of the Star Times Uganda Premier League started with clubs like Mbarara City naming new coach Livingstone Mbabazi, Onduparaka had also named Louis Kizito as a new addition to their coaching staff, with KCCA FC also showing Mike Mutebi the exit and replacing him with his immediate assistant Morley Byekwaso.
The Star Times Uganda Premier League kicked off on Wednesday 31st January March,2021 with a fixture between Busoga United and Onduparaka FC.
Home side Busoga United were the victors with goals coming from Magero Franco Balaba scoring from a penalty spot and man of the match Isma Mugurusi was also on target for the Jinja based side as they claimed their fourth win of the season to stand 11th on the table with 17 points.
It was a day to forget by the Caterpillars as they fell to a seventh loss of the season and lost their third in succession, few days after announcing Louis Kizito as a new addition to the coaching staff of the club.
Onduparaka remain standing 8th on the table with 21 points.
The second match followed a day later with record champions SC Villa visiting and beating MYDA FC 2:1. Thanks to goals from Shafic Ssenoga and Derrick Ndahiro enough for the Edward Kaziba coached side pocketing maximum points home.
After the win, SC Villa displaced KCCA FC from fourth position, the Joggos now have 28 points from 8 wins, 4 draws and 4 losses.
