The Supreme Mufti Sheikh Siliman Kasule Ndirangwa has resigned from his position with immediate effect following this short address video address as he revealed bitter inside fights among Kibuli Islamic Leaders.
Through a video clip shared allover the media, Sheikh Ndirangwa urges leaders who are set to take up his office to work towards the unity of the Muslim community that has been divided in factions in the recent past.
Ndirangwa was appointed Supreme Mufti of the Kibuli-based Muslim faction on December, 16, 2015.
His resignation comes a few months after the death of outspoken Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata who was the spokesperson of the Kibuli faction.
