State Minister for Higher Education, John Chrysestom Muyingo has stated that four students including Bebe Cool’s son Alpha Thierry who missed their Uganda Certificate of Examinations (UCE) will not be given any special exams, theys should wait for 2022.

Muyingo revealed that students including Ivan Irinimbabazi (Royal Giants high School) , Alpha Thierry Ssali ,Oscar Mawa (Gombe High), Mutyaba Travis (St Mary’s Secondary School, Kitende) and Elvis Mwanje (Masaka SS) should wait and sit for examinations next year.

Muyingo adds that giving the students exams now is against UNEB policies adding that it will be another form of malpractice hence advising them to be patient as they wait to sit for the papers next year.

The comment comes after parents of the four students showed their disappointment in ministry of education and sports for not helping their son’s sit exams yet they had gone to represent the country in Africa Cup of Nations Under 2020 (AFCON) in Mauritius early this year.
