Uganda Police football club has on Wednesday 24th February, beaten visitors Onduparaka 3:1 in a match played at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo to move to second position on the sixteen team log.
A brace from Johnson Ondongo, a penalty in the 25th minute and another goal at the 84th minute mark and an Eric Ssenjobe strike gave the cops a well deserved win. Emmanuel Oketch had levelled matters for the visitors in the 51st minute but turned to be a consolation when Odong and Ssenjobe added to their side's goal.
The result means the Cops move to second position with 19 points picked up from six wins, one draw and two losses.
Despite the the FUFA Referees Disciplinary Panel rescinding the red card shown to Police FC Goalkeeper Derrick Ochan during their game against Vipers last Friday, Tom Ikara was in goal and Ochan dropped to the bench.
Johnson Ondongo was named Pilsner man of the match and walked home with 100,000/- from the Brewers.

Ronald Kyamanywa's penalty in second minute and Monday Denis' goal in the 54th minute weren't enough to pick them maximum points as Steven Mukwala 5', Brian Majwega 9', and Shafic Kuchi Kagimu scored for the tax collectors to bag home maximum points.
The win lifted the tax collectors to fourth position on the table with 18 points from five wins, three draws and one loss.
The win for the tax collectors also meant they have made it four away wins in a row. Brian Majwega's spectacular display made him the match's best player and cashed in 100,000/- from Pilsner lager.
At Army Military Barracks Grounds in Bombo, UPDF bounced back to winning ways with a well deserved 2:0 win against visitors Mbarara City FC.
Goals from Brian Kalumba 46' and Brian Kayanja sealed a win for the soldiers who had last won a league match on 19th December,2020 when they beat Police 1:0 in Bombo.
They had since then succumbed to three successive losses, losing to Vipers (1-0), Onduparaka (1-0) and lately Bright Stars (3-0).
The win lifted them up to fifth with 15points, from five wins and four losses after match day nine.
