Vipers SC Mantains Table Summit With a Narrow 1:0 Edge Past BUL FC

Four times UPL winners and defending Champions Vipers SC have on Tuesday 23rd February,2021 extended their stay at table summit with a hard fought 1:0 win against edible Oil makers BUL FC.

Returnee soldier Yunus Ssentamu was at it again with an 84th minute strike earning the Venoms Maximum points. The goal took his tally of the season to five goals in four appearances.

Vipers tops the table on 21 points and still unbeaten after match day nine with six wins and three draws.

Elsewhere in the league, Express FC ran riot on MYDA FC with a 4:1 win. Thanks to a brace apiece from George Ssenkaaba and Godfrey Lwesibaawa.

The win lifts the Red Eagles to second on the table and remained unbeaten with five wins and four draws after match day nine.

Rahmat Ssenfuka and Andrew Kigozi scored for Wakiso Giants and KCCA FC respectively as the two sides drew one one at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium. KCCA FC stand seventh on the table whereas Wakiso Giants are tenth.

At FUFA Technical center-Njeru, Douglas Muganga and Ogwang Isaac were on target for Busoga United and SC Villa respectively.

Busoga United who currently stand 14th remain winless this season with five draws and four losses. Villa stand fourth with 15 points from 4 wins, 3 draws and two losses after match nine.

Kyetume also played a two all draw with Bright Stars with Kyetume goals coming from Ezra Bidda, Saka Yusuf and Bright Stars scoring through Janjali Joseph and Ssekamate Samuel.

Action resumes on Wednesday 24th February with Police hosting Onduparaka at MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo where UPDF will take on Mbarara City at Bombo Military Grounds.
