Mrs Proscovia Musoke Mayanja, mother to East African music power horse Jose Chameleone has come out and slammed singer turned politicians MP Bobi Wine for her son's loss in the recently concluded Kampala City mayoral race.
By denying the "Kigwa leero" singer a National Unity Platform, NUP opposition party ticket ticket, Mrs Mayanja is optimistic that Bobi Wine solely cost her son's victory in the mayoral race that was won by FDC's Ssalongo Erias Lukwago.
During an exclusive interview with BBS TV's Round About entertainment show, Chameleone's mother cursed Bobi Wine for dumping and forgetting his childhood friend yet he is the reason as to why her son joined active politics.
"Mayanja shared with me his plans of contesting for the Kampala mayoral race way back when he was dropping many hit sings. However, he was inspired by his brother to go political having witnessed him making it in the political life. He then made up his mind to contest as a Lord Mayor. I felt really annoyed when my son was denied a NUP Party ticket but had nothing to do," Chameleone's mother opened up.
