Singer cum politician, the National Unity Party President, Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu aka Bobi Wine has written a protest note to NBS Television, discrediting them and making several allegations of how they lied to Ugandans about Museveni and Elections.
NBS is yet to respond to the accusations, but social media is full of reactions, including from the President’s secretary Don Wanyama as Bobi Wine has stood his word by attacking the Next Media station.
Bobi Wine, Kyagulanyi has come out and protested results of the January 14 Presidential elections in the Supreme Court on Monday.
In the elections, Yoweri Museveni was declared winner with close to 59% of the vote cast against his closest rival, Kyagulanyi, who polled 35% of the vote.
"At the height of the most fraudulent election, after blocking observers, cutting off the internet and barring everyone except the EC from releasing results, @nbstv was at hand to assist the dictatorship relay cooked figures. This week, I sent them a protest letter."- Bobi Wine wrote on social media.

"NBS claimed to have established its own Tally Center (which other media houses were not allowed to do), and by 11:00pm, they were saying that Museveni had 63% from several districts. Most citizens wondered where these results were coming from. To complete their well calibrated plan, they lined up some so-called analysts to justify the results.
It was clear the intention was to create the impression that Museveni was leading so as to dampen the spirits of the citizens who had roundly rejected the dictatorship. Shame upon whoever was part of the plot to subvert the will of the people. Ugandans are certainly watching.
This week, I wrote a protest letter to them to express my disappointment, which very many Ugandans have expressed."- he added.
