Bishop John Baptist Kaggwa Burial to Take Place at Bukalasa Seminary, All Updates

The pronouncing of the death of Bishop Kaggwa was on Wednesday evening by Medical staff of Mulago National Referral Hosipital and now our team has all the burial arrangements.

The information indicated that the Bishop had succumbed to Coronavirus which was well treated and healed but because of lung problems he has resulted into his death..

Fr Ronald Mayanja,Masaka Diocese publicity Secretary said the burrial takes place at 2:00pm today at Bukalasa Seminary Kalungu District after a mass for the deceased..and his body will be laid there.

Bishop John Baptist Emeritus Kaggwa who was born in 1943 In Bulenga Busiro County studied from Lubaga boys in 1952 and finished studying from Katigondo Major Seminary was ordained a priest in Rome 1970 at age of 28 years and in 1994 was ordained as Bishop of Masaka Diocese where he retired from until Wednesday 20th 2021 when he died from Mulago Referal hospital due to complications brought about by COVID 19
