New talent on the block Eric Opoka aka EezZy famously known for his "Tumbisa Sound" hit song has been summoned by the Uganda Communications Commission, UCC for questioning about his controversial song.
This is in relation to the complaint made by The Director-General of Health Services in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Henry Mwebesa to UCC faulting the fast rising singer's 'Tumbiza Sound' hit song for causing misinformation among different audiences and subsequently creating complacency among the public in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Having received the complaint from Dr. Mwebesa through a letter dated December 4th 2020 calling for the banning of EeZzy's popular 'Tumbiza Sound' hit song, the musician will appear before the national on-air regulators at Spring Road Bugolobi on 29th December to present his defence with sounding reasons as to why his popular music project shouldn't be banned from being broadcast.
In a letter dated December 23rd 2020 and signed by the UCC Acting ED, Irene Kaggwa Sewankambo, EeZzy has been requested to appear without fail before UCC officials to defend himself about the irregularities in his new song.
