Uganda U-20 national team" The Hippos" have on Wednesday 25th November, 2020 walloped fellow U-20 side of Burundi 6:1 in a match played at Shiekh Amri Abeid Stadium in Arusha, Tanzania.

Former Buwekula and Proline player Ivan Bogere and Isma Mugulusi both grabbed a brace in the 42',50'(P) and 51', 80' minutes respectively.

The other two goals came from Vipers'super boy and also former Buwekula Captain Yiga "Fimbo" Najib who found the back of the net in the 44th minute before an 87th minute strike from Joseph Kiiza Bukenya put the icing on the cake.

Kevin Icoyitungiye lately consoled the Burundians in with a strike in the 90+2 minute.

Unless for a bigger score line for South Sudan in their encounter with Burundi on Friday, Uganda will qualify for the Semis. Alternatively, the Hippos also stand a chance to get to the next level (semis) as a best second team placed team.

Head coach Morley Byekwaso had to make substitutions in the 66th minute bringing on Raymond Onyai and Kizza Bukenya came for
Richard Basangwa and Ivan Asaba respectively. The last substitution saw the coach bring on Artist Bebe Cool's son Alpa Thierry Ssali in the 88th minute for brace hero Yiga Najib.
