The sports fraternity and mostly football fans have woke up in the morning hours of Thursday 19th November with saddening news of the passing on of administrator Katamba Eugene"Ojuku".
Katamba has been under ill health and finally succumbed to the situation in the night hours of Wednesday 18th November,2020.
FUFA mourns his death having served in many football capacities among which includes being the first Chairman of the Kampala Football League Committee plus spearheading the foundation of Women Football in Uganda.
The other sad news of the day is the passing on of Mzee Herbert Mubiru father to former FIFA referee Irene Namubiru & footballer Jeremiah Sebuyira.
FUFA wrote this on their timeline..
"FUFA is extending heartfelt condolences to former FIFA referee Irene Namubiru & footballer Jeremiah Sebuyira for the loss of their beloved Father Mzee Herbert Mubiru. We pray to God to comfort them and the entire family.

Burial programs for the deceased are yet to be communicated but here we wish the deceased eternal peace.
