Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) have gone ahead to portray their desire for a fifth league trophy by announcing the signing of former Maroons striker Steven "Dese" Mukwala.
The club posted on it's Facebook page... "Ladies and gentlemen, allow us present to you the current StarTimes Uganda Premier Golden Boot winner - Steven Mukwala Dese."
Steven Dese Mukwala, a product of Masaza cup was last season's top scorer, netting 13 times for now relegated Maroons and will now sharpen URA FC's front line ahead of the 2020/2021 season slated for November,2020.
Mukwala joined Vipers in 2017 after netting 3 goals for Ssingo but struggled to get enough playing time at the Entebbe based side thus switching to Maroons.
He joins as the latest signing after the arrival of Brian Nkuubi, Arafat Galiwango, Ssali Davis, Jackson Nunda and Hannington Ssebwalunyo.
Mukwala also played for Bulemeezi where he scored five and six goals in 2016 and 2015 respectively.
URA FC will be looking to clinching a fifth trophy in the forthcoming season and the first since 2010/2011. Last season,they finished fifth with 10 wins, 10 draw and five losses in 25 matches and with these additions, Sam Ssimbwa's seem to look more competent this season
