Striker George Ssenkaaba has inked a two year contract with six time Uganda Premier League champions Express FC from newly promoted side Kitara FC.

George Ssenkaaba, a former striker at Kirinya Jinja SS (currently Busoga United) and the defunct saints FC has been instrumental in Kitara FC's promotion to the top tier of Uganda's premier soccer league.

He netted 5 goals in ten matches for Kitara and helped his side gain promotion to the top flight for the first time.

At the striking line, he will need to beat Express FC's last season's top scorer Frank Kalanda, plus Eric Kambale and Mustafa Kiraga, the other new goal poachers recruited.

The new faces at the club now include, Jjuuko Murushid, Charles Musiige, Cryspus Kusiima, Denis Otim, centre back Richard Bbosa, midfielders Mahad “Yaya” Kakooza, Abel Eturude, Baker Sakah, Godfrey Lwesibawa plus forward Mustafa and Isaac Nsengiyunva among others.
