Social Media has been awashed with rumors of how Revival Church Kawaala Proprietor, Pastor Augustine Yiga had kicked the bucket but now we have the full health update from the hospital.
Pastor Yiga is seriously ill and still admitted to Nsambya Hospital and unlike the Friday morning reports that he is dead, Yiga is still getting treatment at Nsambya Hospital where he has been admitted for weeks.
“It’s true, the Pastor is ill and admitted but about his death, I don’t think this is the year when he will die,” an official from his church said.
Contacted for a comment, Nsambya Hospital maintains that Yiga is alive but refuses to comment further.
" Pastor Yiga is not dead! Pastor Yiga Augustine Abizayo is alive, he is not yet dead. We take this opportunity to warn whoever is spreading the news, do it at your risk. God is good,” said an official from ABS TV.
Prior to his hospitalization, the ‘Man of God’ was arrested and charged with committing an act likely to spread infection of a disease which is contrary to sec(171 PCA). He had appeared in a TV interview saying there were no Covid-19 cases in Uganda as had been reported by the Ministry of Health.
