Seasoned actor and radio personality Patrick Mujuuka aka Patriko has resigned from his job at Bulange Mengo based 89.2 CBS FM Emanduso radio station to concentrate on active politics.

Apart from being a radio host, Patriko is popularly known for his comedic appearances in theatre, TV and radio.

The seasoned actor is now looking at politics, gunning for a seat in Nakifuma county, Mukono district come 2021 where he is set to unseat incumbent NRM MP Robert Kafeero Sekitoleko on an independent ticket after being denied a NUP Party ticket despite being close to the party's presidential flag bearer, MP Kyagulanyi Sentamu Robert alias Bobi Wine.

Having gunnered a huge audience of listeners on the waves of the mighty CBS FM as a host of the weekly Mukeeze and Musanyusa weekend radio shows, Patriko emotionally had to put an end to his 17 year radio career by saying goodbye to his bosses and colleagues so as to concentrate on active politics.
