The owner of Nexus Bar in Najjera, Ivan Kakooza passed on last night at Mulago Hospital where he had been admitted for the past 3 weeks.
Rumors indicate that the young businessman might have died of COVID19, asthma or depression and stress related illnesses.
Kakooza’s businesses including the bar and Nexus events were hit hard by the Coronavirus pandemic especially when government introduced Standard Operating Procedures for #Covid-19 that saw events business and bars closed for over six months.
Further reports indicate that loans from commercial banks which Kakooza had secured in expanding his businesses could have caused much stress leading to his death.
