In April 2018, a Kenyan student at Makerere Univerity, Njoroge Racheal Njeri was sexually harrased by her lecturer Edward Kisuze who licked her sumbie and she recorded him on camera and now he has been sentenced and ordered to pay a fine.
Buganda Road Chief Magistrate, Ms Miriam Akello has sentenced former Makerere University administrator Edward Kisuze to a fine of Shs4 million or two years in prison for sexually harassing former student, Njoroge Racheal Njeri.
Upon convicting Kisuze on the count of indecent assault, Akello, said there was overwhelming evidence from the prosecution that proved the case of indecent assault.
“All ingredients of indecent assault were proved beyond reasonable doubt by the prosecution witnesses. The accused is hereby sentenced to a fine of Shs4 million or in default serve two years in jail,” Akello said.
According to Njoroge Reg No:13/k/2347/eve, she went to Makerere University on 13/4/2018 to certify her transcript and pick up her recommendation letter on the day Kisuze pounced on her and licked her private parts.
