The Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations U20 championship is to be held in Uganda from 21st September, 2019 to 5th October, 2019.

Who are the participants?
Eleven countries confirmed participation in the tournament and they include: Uganda, Tanzania,Kenya, Burundi, Eritrea, Djibouti, Zanzibar, Ethiopia, S. Sudan,Somalia and Sudan.
How were the teams grouped.
Hosts Uganda are in group A alongside, Sudan, Eritrea and Djibouti.
Kenya is in group of death B, with Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zanzibar.
Burundi is in group C together with South Sudan and Somalia.

How to qualify for the next round.
From the group stages, the tournament will head for the quarter finals (last eight).
Three teams from group A and B plus two from group C will make the last eight.
Where will the matches be played?
The matches will be played at two playgrounds:Pece War memorial Stadium -Gulu and
FUFA technical center in Njeru.
What are the tournament's opening matches?
At the tournament's kick off, Sudan will host Somalia at 2PM at Pece Stadium-Gulu.
The official opening match will be between tournament hosts Uganda and Eritrea at 4PM at Pece War Memorial Stadium, Gulu.
