URA FC Appoints Henry Mayeku As Their New Club CEO

Uganda Revenue Authority football club have on Tuesday 1st September, 2020 announced Henry Mayeku as their new club CEO.

Henry who worked as the club general secretary from 2011-2016 has been handed a one year renewable contract and starts his work effectively.

Part of the club press release read, "URA FC is pleased to announce Henry Mayeku as the new club CEO".

"The URA FC interview panel that sat on 31st August, 2020 appointed Henry Mayeku as the Chief Executive Officer of the Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club".

Mayeku replaces Bridger Nakayenga who has been the interim club CEO since Ivan Kakembo was relieved of his duties lately in 2019. URA FC finished fifth last season with 40 points from 10 wins, 10 draws and 5 losse.

If the healthy status in the country eases, the new season 2020/2021 is tentatively set to kick off on 17th October, 2020
