Duncan Seninde has put pen to paper on a two year contract with 2005 Uganda Premier League Champions Police FC.

The left footed midfielder completed his move to the Cops family on Friday 28th August, 2020 after a successful completion of all the necessary medical tests.

This means the 23-year- old will be with the Abdullah Mubiru coached side at least until 2022. Seninde played for Kampala Junior Team before joining Vipers in 2015 and Wakiso Giants who he signed for last season on loan from Vipers.

The youngster was all over the moon after signing the contract particularly expressing his joy for reuniting with coach Abdallah Mubiru.

In his first interview with the club, he said: "I feel so good and excited. It's a reunion with Coach Abdullah whom we parted ways with from Vipers".

"I appreciate being given this opportunity; this will help me a lot in my career. I promise to put in a lot of effort to make sure good results come our way.

"I believe with great team work and guidance from the technical team, we shall produce good results."

Seninde becomes the club's tenth signing thus far after Frank "Zaga" Tumwesige, Derrick Ochan, Arnold Ssembuya, Muwadda Mawejje, Oloka Sammon, Tonny Mawejje, Hassan Mohammed, Tom Ikara and Eric Ssenjobe.

A crop of players has also renewed stay at the Cops, they include: Yousouf Sozi, Johnson Odong, Dennis Rukundo, Musa Matovu, Kabuye Bashir, Nsubuga Mubaraka, Edward Kiryowa, Ssentume Joseph and Ruben Kimera.

Police FC finished 13th last season on 25 points from 8 wins 4 losses and 13 losses. However, they were docked points for failure to honour a fixture when they went for East Africa military games.
