After failing to secure promotion to the elite league, the StarTimes Uganda Premier League last season Big League side Nyamityobora FC have signed defender Wahabu Lwanga from Dove FC.

The 26 year old gigantic defender penned a three year contract with "The Abanyankore" till 2023. He has also been the team captain for the Masindi based side.

The news comes after the team's captain Kamugisha Clinton extended his stay at the Mbarara side for two more years.

The other new recruits include winger Mubaraka Kakooza, Brian Ngabwina (offensive Midfielder), Mahad Rashid who penned a 3 year contract, Faizal Ismail Aliganyira (striker) and forward Juma Sabiiti.

Nyamityobora finished fifth in the recently concluded 2019/2020 season and are looking to beefing up their squad in a bid for a return to top flight. The Star Times Uganda Premier League is set to kick off on 29th October 2020 as set by FUFA.
