Masaza Cup Update: Kooki Ssaza Team Signs Anthony Ssekidde

Though mystery still surrounds the kick off date for the Masaza tournament 2020, this has not hampered Kooki Saza Football team from strengthening their squad. The side has on Thursday 23rd July 2020 added midfielder Antony Ssekidde to their squad.

The skilled midfielder joins Kooki FC on a one year contract. Ssekidde is the latest signing and joins the 2006 champions who have already acquired the signatures of holding midfielder Shamiru Kimwero, central defenders Latif Bira and Kenny Nshimirimana (Rwanda born), striker Benjamin Ssemango and wing back David Okecho.

The Massage Cup organising committee is looking for all possible means for this year's tournament to kick off though the COVID-19 pandemic lock down will have to be eased first.

Bulemeezi FC, the two time Masaza Cup winners are the defending champions having claimed last year's championship with a 1:0 win over Busiro. Thanks to a sole strike from Loki Emmanuel in extra time.
