So many unanswered questions about Ugandan musician Spice Diana have been giving her fans headache but today during this amazingly exclusive interview with our reporter she spills all secrets no one else knew about as she tells us how she changed from Namukwaya Hajarah to the Spice Diana we all know today and Love.
Having found her at her recording music studio called 32 Records, Spice Diana had no chance but to answer al our questions and settle different things people have always been wondering about her.
Spice Diana started her music career early while studying at Makerere University and her first manager was Dr Fizol of Avie Records, and she was later managed by Twinkle Star and AgaNaga in 2016 by Emma Carlos before being signed by Manager Roger Lubega of Source Management.
At that time she had several singles including "Nze Akwagala" and "Onsanula" as she narrates to our reporter. Spice Diana has also collaborated with both local and international artists that include Pallaso, Ray G ,Aganaga and Jamaican Orisha Sound among others. Spice Diana was educated at Kibuli Demonstration School for primary education and St Peter's Senior Secondary School for her secondary education.
She graduated from Makerere University with a Bachelor of Industrial Arts. Spice Diana became the mother and father of her family having grown up in the slums of Nakulabye from where her dream was born with her mother and three siblings.
From there she started working with the Triplets Ghetto Kids who gave her a stepping stone. While in the Triplets, one of the dancers, the Late Alex asked Spice Diana if she could sing after he had noticed her incredible talent and from there she wrote her first song called "Nze Akwagala" which didn't work so well at first.
Her breakthrough single was called "Onsanula" which was released in 2014 hence opening up doors for her. She has been releasing hit songs every year until in 2018 when Manager Roger Lubega organized and staged her first music concert for her at Freedom City.
Currently Spice Diana owns a Mansion on Salaama Road in her names, a number of Music Awards including; HiPipo, Abryanz, Zzina Awards and so many others as witnessed in the video interview we had with her.
