Onduparaka Names Vialli Bainomugisha as Their New Head Coach

Arua based Uganda premier league entity Onduparaka FC aka "The Caterpillars" have in the morning hours of Friday 17th July, 2020 announced the signing of senior coach Vialli Bainomugisha as their head coach ahead of this coming 2020/2021 season.

They went to their social media platforms to confirm the development:

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Bainomugisha Vialli as our new Head Coach. The 43 year-old CAF B&C Coach has provided leadership and promotion to different clubs across Uganda and possesses an International sports connection certificate."

Onduparaka had their worst perfomance in the just prematurely ended 2019/2020 season since their entry in the top division in 2016/2017 season.They finished 8th on a sixteen team table with 31 points from 9 wins, 4 draws and 12 losses.

Vialli Bainomugisha was recently named as the technical director of Buwekula Saza team to help the side win its first title of the competition.

At Onduparaka, he joins a side which is having financial complications that have seen many club officials and players leave. Livingstone Mbabazi, Allan "Kivebulaaya" Kabonge are some of the coaches that have recently been at the helm of the Caterpillars.

Football governing body in Uganda FUFA passed 17th October, 2020 as the tentative date for the kick off of the 2020/2021 season given that normalcy is restored in the country.
