Few days after the club announced the signing of senior player Tonny Mawejje and Hassan Muhamood, the cops have today Friday 10th July, 2020 signed left back Eric Ssenjobe from KCCA FC.
A club statement on their twitter handle read:
"We are pleased to announce the signing of Eric Ssenjobe from @KCCAFC on a two year contract with an option to renew. He becomes our third signing of the window.
Pending reports of Arafat Galiwango departing the club, Ssenjobe is thought to fill the void. At KCCA FC, Eric failed to beat Mustafa Kiiza's competency and at Police FC, he is assured of a starting berth.
Club chairman Asan Kasingye is optimistic the club will be competent next season and are looking forward to reviving the glory days of 2006 when they won the CECAFA club championship.
Police FC narrowly escaped the cut last season finishing on the relegation line with 25 wins from 8 wins, 4 draws and 13 losses.
The 2020/2021 season starts on 17th October, 2020.
