As preparations for the new Uganda Premier league season 2020/2021 intensify, Uganda premier league outfits Police FC "The Cops" have announced new CEO in counsel Fahad Lumu.
A club statement on their social media platforms read:
"We are pleased to announce counsel Fahad Lumu as our new Chief Executive Officer".
The decision was reached by the Top Police Management, replacing Assistance Superintendent of Police (ASP) Francis Kidega. Lumu penned down a 3 year contract with effect from 1st July 2020 when he takes over office from Kidega.
2005 Uganda Premier League Champions champions Police FC narrowly escaped relegation in the 2019/2020 season, averaging a point in the 25 matches played.
The football governing body in Uganda FUFA, declared that 17th October, 2020 as a tentative date set for the start of the 2020/2021 Uganda Premier League season.
