News reaching our desk indicates how the 13 time champions KCCA FC are hunting for Proline's attacking midfielder Bright Anukani.
News of KCCA's interest in the young but much promising talent have hit headlines ever since the purple and yellow stripped side got relegated to Uganda's second football tier, the Star Times Big League after the 2019/2020 season was prematurely ended due to the persistent COVID-19 pandemic.
The forward was on target for Uganda Cranes as they majestically beat Eritrea 3:0 to win the 2019 CECAFA tournament held in
Uganda.
He was also influential in Proline's FUFA Big League's title victory in 2018/2019 season that saw the star named the league's Most Valuable player. During the season, he also helped his team win their maiden Uganda cup title when they beat Bright Stars 5:4 in post match penalties after a 1:1 stalemate.
Bright Anukani is one of the club's valuable assets along with Mustafa Mujjuzi, Noordin Bunjo and Yusuf Mukisa. Anukani made his senior national team debut on 4 June 2019 against SouthAfrica during the COSAFA 2019 tournament won Zambia in South Africa.
