A fortnight ago, we reported the news of a Ugandan striker Joel Madondo plying trade for Morocco's Wydad Casablanca who was crying foul for unpaid arrears at his current employers, Wydad Casablanca.
The latest coming from Morocco indicates how the former Busoga United forward has now been restricted from attending the club's training sessions. According to his conversation with Pyramids FC forward and Uganda Cranes player Abdul Lumala, Joel was refused to access to the training ground. He said.
‘The club is already back in training because they are preparing for the resumption of the league and CAF Champions League but I went there the other day and I was denied access to the training ground.’ He said.
‘I went back to training and coach Diego Megias (conditioning coach) told me to talk to the head coach Juan Carlos Garrido who is currently in Spain. When I called him, he told me I should first settle my issues with the club.’
Joel who in his earlier submission said he's not got a penny from his bosses since joining the club in January says he was given his passport back and he's in preparations for a return to home country Uganda.
It's been reported that Michael Babatunde (Friend to Joel) who plays as a midfielder for Wydad Athletic Club in the same league has been giving some funds to the Ugandan forward to sustain his life given the high costs of living in the country (Morocco).
Madondo joins players like Shaban Mohammed, Juuko Murushid, the most recent failures the Botola Pro league in Morocco.
