Express FC Makes A Big Reshuffle, Fires 18 Players

The next step Express FC has taken in a bid to get back to its earlier days of success is letting go of the players seeming surplus to necessity at the Red Army side.

Express FC who finished 9th in 2019/2020 season with 31 points from 9 wins, 4 draws and 12 losses started preparations for the next season with naming new head coach Wasswa Bbosa and CEO Isaac Mwesigwa in late May, 2020 but have now offloaded 18 players, most surprising was Tonny Kyamera, Lawrence Kigonya and Hamdan Nsubuga.

The six time Uganda premier league champions have already completed the signing of offensive midfielder Geoffrey Lwesibawa and are reportedly interested in among other players like Sadam Ibrahim Juma of KCCA, Joel Mutakubwa, Steven Luswata, Charles Musiige, John Byamukama Toki, David Owori and Ambrose Kirya.
