Cristiano Ronaldo alias Dos Santos Aveiro is still proving doubters that he's the world's finest wrong by putting up a superb performance as the European reigning champions thumped Lithuania in a six goal thriller.

The five time Ballon d'Or winner struck the net four times as the 2004 European runners up outwitted Lithuania 5:1. The goals mean the 2019 FIFA Player of the year contender now has 93 goals for his country the most by any European player.

Cristiano is now only 16 goals shy of Iran's legend Ali Daei who holds the record for the most international goals scored in the world.

His goals also mean he broke former Irish forward Robbie Keane's record for the most goals in Euro Qualifiers, overtaking his 23 goals to 24.

The Juventus forward's goals against Lithuania meant he scored against a 40th different national team in his playing career.

Among them includes, Belgium, Netherlands, Argentina, Croatia, Ghana, Cameron and many others.

The goals in the game meant he has scored eight international hat tricks for Portugal.

ITV sports Pundit Piers Morgan called the star, the "Greatest Of All Time", G.O.AT.

The Star is on a three-man final shortlist for the FIFA men's player of the year 2019 along with reigning UEFA player of the Virgil van Dijk and fellow five time Ballon d'Or winner Messi.

We wait to see who will win the accolade come 23rd September 2019 at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy.
