Another Uganda Cranes legend Jimmy Muguwa is reportedly in a critical condition which needs attention mostly from the sports fraternity. Many Ugandans have ran riot over limited care taken for former Uganda cranes players who didn't benefit from Football during their playing career when finances were limited and are currently living a miserable life but not looked after by football authorities.

After losing Uganda's football great Jimmy Kirunda last week who people say didn't get enough care during his elderly times, another case is Jimmy Muguwa. He was was influential in the 1980s for the national team and well known for his antics that made him the first coach to guide Express FC to the CAF champions league semi finals in 1990s.

According to a story anchored on NTV Akawungeezi on Monday 1st June 2020, Muguwa who is now unable to hear, is living at his brother's home Jim Ashaba in Masindi who is talking care of him. Speaking to NTV, Jimmy Muguwa showed need for Ugandans to have a moment of prayers for the Ugandan sport.

Andrew Fimbo Mukisa is another case where a former Uganda cranes star is living a bad health and the attention given to him is still lacking. Mukasa holds the record for the most goals in a single Uganda Premier League season (1999) when he netted 45 goals for SC Villa overtaking Jimmy Kirunda's 32 goals tally in 1978 for KCCA.
