Masaza Cup is not only characterised by competitiveness on the pitch but also financial battles are really being fought behind the scenes. The latest development indicates how Buddu Saza team has snatched Tito "Titus" Sseng'endo who was on 19th May, 2020 reported to have signed for four time champions Gomba.
According the 2016 Masaza cup champions' mouth piece Chris Kasagga, Buddu have completed the re-signing of the teenage sensation who is in his first year at St. Lawrence University.
The creative midfielder is currently playing for Kampala regional league side Black Stars, was at Lungujja Galaxy last season still in Kampala regional league and has had a stint at Katwe United. He is a graduate of Makindye Soccer Academy and played football for his secondary school side London College Nansana from S.1 to S.6.
Sseng'endo was reported to have signed for Gomba Lions a week ago and was pictured in the four time champions' jersey as a sign that a deal had been triggered but our surprise, the player is back to the Masaka based side.
Ssengendo who was at Buddu last year had one year left on his contact but now extends with another year. Buddu are one time champions having won the trophy in 2016.
