Express FC alias "Mukwano gwabangi-ndiba yokka" have today 10th September, 2019 won their first league game with a 3:2 win away to Mbarara City at Luzira Prisons grounds.
Express FC got their goals through Hamdan Nsubuga 45', Frank Kalinda 66', and Daniel Shabena secured the win in the added minutes of the game. It was for club captain Dissan Galiwango's incredible work that Frank Kalanda managed to score his first goal of his second stint at the Club.
Mbarara City scored their first goal through Captain Hilary Mukundane's free kick that deflected off Cyrus Kibande. City's equaliser came from Jude Ssemugabi in the 81st minute.
It is Mbarara City's second defeat in four matches after a 3:1 loss to SC Villa.
The win means Express FC are now level with Mbarara City on four points. Express FC captain Disan Galiwango was named the man of the match.
Lawrance Kigonya (Express 60'),Hilary Mukundane (Mbarara City 61') and Disan Galiwango (Express 73') were booked.
Express will play host to SC Villa in their match day five on Friday 13th September, 2019 at Betway Muteesa II Stadium wankulukuku whilst Mbarara city will have a trip to Kitende for an encounter with Vipers.
