During this COVID-19 lock down, one of the most affected sector is that of Sport where all sporting activities are still down as gatherings are one of the prohibited things by the Health Ministry in a way of fighting hard to overcome come the pandemic.

On this note, Blizz Uganda took the initiative to talk the Chief Executive officer of KCCA FC on how they have coped with the current Situation.

Anisha Muhoozi says like all the other affected institutions, KCCA FC follow suit as all playing staff was sent back home but acknowledges that training sessions are always sent to the squad members on how to keep fit as they wait for the league to resume.

She went on to assert that all playing staff are still getting their previlleges as per the contracts by virtue of the fact that their pay is always budgeted for a whole year.

On contracts that end on 30th June, She gives that if the continuation of the league means going past the date, they will have to negotiate with players whose contracts will have expired and an agreement will definitely be reached upon. She also continues to say, very few players at KCCA FC will have their contracts end on that date and therefore are not worried about what effects will that date bring to their squad.

KCCA FC are 13 time league winners and the reigning champions, standing second on the 2019/2020 season table with 50 points, six adrift of table leaders Vipers. Should the league stop before completion, Vipers who top the table after 75% of the matches is played, will be crowned champions of this season.
