Former NTV Uganda news anchor and talk show host Joel Ssenyonyi Besekezi has on Tuesday 7th May been unveiled as the new spokesperson of the famous opposition pressure group, People Power-Uganda.
Shortly after tendering in his resignation at the Serena based media house which was positively accepted by sending him off in a colorful way, the charismatic journalist has joined active politics.
In a press conference in Kampala city steered by the People Power CEO, politician turned singer MP Bobi Wine, Mr. Joel Ssenyonyi has been unveiled as the official People Power mouth piece that will work out hand in hand with the rest of the group to deliver their objectives and goals to State House come 2021.
“Chosen after engagements and consultations with all our allies and friendly forces, a gentleman that has an impeccable character, a gentleman that has served his country and comes from a line of professionals…Ladies and gentlemen join me to welcome our new spokesperson Mr. Joel Ssenyonyi,” said MP Bobi Wine as he unveiled the former NTV employee as the official spokesperson of People Power-Uganda.
