Finally, the Kabaka of Buganda Kingdom has on Tuesday 7th donated she100million to the government of Uganda as a way of speeding up work at the Covid-19 Task force in the bid of fighting the global pandemic.
Buganda Kingdom through Prince David Kintu Wasajja has handed over a dummy cheque of she100million to the Covid-19 Response Team headed by prime minister Ruhakana Ruganda.
Through his speech, the Kabaka has applauded president Yoweri Museveni for his commitment towards fighting the deadly virus thereby committing his utmost support towards ending this global war of ending the alien virus.
The King has also cautioned his subjects to stay safe from the Covid-19 virus by responding positively to the government and Ministry of Health guidelines as far as curbing the pandemic is concerned.
