Due to the increasingly spreading pandemic i.e Corona Virus that has claimed more than 5000 lives across the world and its nearness to Uganda (Kenya and Tanzania have both reported cases), the football governing body (FUFA) has resorted to postponing the three nations pre-2020 CHAN tournament.

Uganda had planned to host the tournament starting from today Tuesday 17th March, 2020 with a match against Zambia at Namboole and Zambia taking on Mali on Thursday before a closing fixture on Saturday as Uganda play against Mali with all matches taking place at Namboole stadium.

But due to the need to keep safe from Corona virus, FUFA like Balam Barugahare who called off the Ex-internationals’ (Uganda in particular) match against All African Stars match (retired), decided to call off the tournament as a communication on when it will be re-staged is being waited for.

Below is how the fixtures were meant to run.
