Benson Muhindo goal helps SC Villa come from behind to beat Bright stars 2:1.

SC Villa have on Friday 28th February, 2020 got back to winning ways and Senlighted their chances of finishing in the top threee with a spirited fight that saw the record champions come a goal down to win 2:1 against visiting side Bright Stars.

The visitors coached by Paul Kiwanuka scored the match’s first goal in the 17th minute courtesy of a Jamil kaliisa strike but SC Villa equalized through Wasswa Emmanuel in the 64th minute before Benson Muhindo sealed the win in the 74th minute.

The win now puts SC Villa in control of the third position with a three points lead over nearest rivals URA FC. The Joggos are third with 43 points (six adrift of second placed KCCA FC) from 12 wins, 7 draws and 5 losses from 24 matches.

Bright stars who would have displaced Onduparaka with a win today drop to tenth position and the loss ends their five match unbeaten run. The side has accumulated 29 points having won 7 matches, 8 draws and 9 losses.
