Onduparaka is well known for its massive home support which was witnessed when the just promoted side to the top tier in 2016 filled Nakivubo to capacity in the much anticipated final against Vipers SC.

Onduparaka originates from Arua Municipality and was formed in 2010 by a group a soccer loving students that had accomplished University studies that joined hand in hands to put the club into existence.

Dubbed as "The Caterpillars", Onduparaka started off in the fifth Division of the District league, moved to the fourth division, to the regional league going all the way unbeaten.

Onduparaka, literally meaning "Sorghum stalk" in local language moved to the big league in the season 2015/2016 but this time round lost away from home to remain unbeaten only at home, "The green light stadium".

In the same season (2015/2016), Onduparaka made it to the finals of the Uganda Cup with a fixture against Vipers SC that saw a record crowd dominated by people from Arua and the city (Kampala) was was all flooded by Onduparaka fans.

Despite the large turn up of the Northerners for the game, Onduparaka was frustrated with a 3:1 thumping by the Venoms. Despite the loss, the caterpillars were praised for the love for the game and has since then lived an exemplary life to many other clubs which started to have love for their home clubs.

The season saw Onduparaka promoted to Uganda's top flight league, The Uganda Premier League and lost their first home match 1:0 to SC Villa in the second round of the 2016/2017 Uganda Premier league.
