Singer and former Goodlyfe manager Kyagambidwa Geoffrey aka Chagga Big Papa has come out and distanced himself from having any of the songs the late singer Mowzey Radio left behind.
During an interview with a local TV station on NBS Television's After5 Show, Chagga who was hosted with fellow music veteran Henry Tigan revealed that all the music and songs Radio had recorded is being owned by Weasel Manizo and their lawyers Lukwago Co. Advocates.
"To people who keep calling me and asking about Mowzey Radio's music, you should all know that I have no song, all the music and rights of Goodlye and Angel Music belong to Weasel and he has everything.
This whole saga is being handled by Goodlyfe Lawyers Lukwago and Co Advocates and me as Chagga i have nothing to do. I dont know why you people don't ask Weasel these things. You act like when Radio died the whole company died with him.
Weasel is still alive and he is the only peron with the rights over all that music and whether he wants to sale it or stage a concert he has all the rights. They started the company together."- Chagga told Douglas Lwanga the host.
We are yet to get a word from Weasel about all this.
