After 15 years down, guttural voiced long forgotten artiste Gerald Muwonge reunited back with the Mayanja family after reconciling with Mr. And Ms. Mayanja.
Ever since he acquired overnight fame in 2007 following the release of his Manzi Wanani hit song, Clever J became unruly in the Mayanja family that houses fellow musicians Jose Chameleone, Weasel and Pallaso to the extent and running away from home as he accused the Mayanjas of being ill hearted, practicising witchcraft, feeding him poorly with little food and discrimination to the extent that he couldn't bear the situation while in the same shelter.
From disowning his biological father (Mr.Bukenya) who happens to be Mr. Gerald Mayanja's young brother, Clever J had even threatened to disown his other siblings incase they had at any time associated with the Mayanja family.
Ever since reconciling with his cousin, singer Jose Chameleone way back at the Comedy Store, Clever J vowed to do the same by going back to the Mayanja family and ask for forgiveness having realised that he was the bad tomato in the basket and had wronged a family that had raised him into a responsible fellow from childhood.
In relation to the biblical story about the parable of the prodigal son, Clever J in company of his manager visited the Mayanja family last Friday 21st thereby praying for a second chance from the Mayanjas.
The furious Mayanjas (Gerald and Prossy Mayanja) did take the singer's heartfelt apology as a joke given the forest of sins he had wronged them and had to take the singer into endless drills of apology so as to win back their hearts as evidenced in the video below;
