List of the Top 10 Best DJ’s in Uganda 2018

2018 has been a challenging year for the Deejay’s in Uganda since the music styles have been changing alot from Dancehall to RnB, Reggae and very few Afro-beat songs which are very well known for entertaining party goers but still we had to give you a lost of the top deejays in the land.

Even with the above mentioned challenges, the music industry in Uganda has been able to grow with alot of urban music from the Top Best Producers in Uganda hence making the DJ’s work easier.

Still standing from 2017 List, DJ Slick Stuart and Roja have managed to stay on top of the 2018 list. The duo DJ released hit songs that were rocked by almost all other DJ’s including their hit songs; Very Well and Pon Me. they held a successful Mixtape Party and have also stayed relevant for the whole year.

2. SilverBack DJz:

Silver Back DJz – DJ Ape Man

Changing the face of deejaying in Africa, Silver Back DJ, Ape Man has also stayed on the top of his game, well known among one of the top Reggae Music deejays in Uganda, playing on big events and RadioCity, Apeman has redefined Deejaying as a whole.

3. DJ Nimrod:

Also known as a Muzinyi has worked really hard to earn himself this spot on the list of the top DJ’s in Uganda with his work being visible not only on Galaxy FM and Club Amnesia but also on different events he always headlines as a DJ.

4. DJ Ali Breezy:

Ali is well known as High School favorite DJ, if you ever want to hype up the mood of High school students then DJ Ali Breezy is the right DJ for that Job as he has proven to be the best at it for the past 3 consecutive years, 2018 he has also done great with his work at XFM, Bukedde FM, Face TV and many other big brands he works for.

5. DJ Ciza:

DJ Ciza,, also known as Muzukulu Wa Decka has also done great this year with alot of visible work including his big collabo with Co Sign, he has played on most of the biggest events in the country, both international and local. he also plays on Radio city and some of the biggest night clubs in the country.

NBS TV DJ and one of the highly ranked and expensive DJ in the country, Dvj Mercy is currently one of the people’s favorites with just his presence lighting up the audience, his touch of always mixing urban music is also loved by most of his fans. He really deserved to be on this list.

7. DJ Shiru:

DJ Shiru is a legend and his work still speaks volumes for him. Shiru has also had a successful year with headlining different events, collaborating on different songs with International Musicians and earning himself big from Vision Group.

8. DJ Kas Baby:

Currently known as one of the urban Club Deejays in Kampala, DJ Kas Baby is the official DJ of Panamera, legends, liquid silk naalya & XfmUG. His work also speaks for itself and still has a bright journey to walk in the industry.

Also known as the local DJ, since he only plays local Ugandan music, has also had a great year of traveling the world and spreading th elove for Ugandan music. So far he has travelled 34 countries, playing only Ugandan music and lifting the flag so he definately deserved to be on this list.
