KCCA FC Claims First Victory Over Mbarara City with a Slim 1:0 Win

KCCA FC have today reduced Vipers lead to one point after a 1:0 victory over the "Ankole Lions" Mbarara city. KCCA scored through Filbert Obenchan in 51st minute.

The win by the Kasasiro boys puts them on 35 points and now trail table leaders Vipers by one point. However, the Venoms have a game in hand against Kyetume on Friday 10th January, 2020.

KCCA FC fielded a team without defender Kizza Mustafa and forward Allan Okello who are said to have denied new contracts at the club and are seeking for some greener pastured elsewhere.

The win was KCCA's first against Mbarara City in six attempts, with the Mbarara side winning once and drawing four in the previous five encounters. Mike Mutebi made some changes bringing on, Filbert Obenchan, Hassan Musana and John Odumwegu for Musa Ramathan,Joseph Kafumbe and Mike Mutyaba respectively.
